Stéphane Tissier began painting abstracts and landscapes rather than expressing in himself in general colours.  Then after a long period of exhibitions in Paris where he lives, Stéphane felt the need to return to painting nature, the countryside and the coast.

Between the two perionds of painting abstracts and landscapes Stéphane benefitted from his first experience away from Paris, he took a break from painting to create many sculptures using wood.

Sometime later Stéphane moved to North Brittany where he painted coastal scenes and floral canvasses.
