Art Exhibition

'Brothers in Art' summer exhibition is being held at La Grande Galerie by British artist David W. Whitfield and Indian artist Deviprasad C. Rao from 4th July 2009 to 4th September 2009.

La Grande Galerie will be adding a new literature category to its pages soon!

'La Grande Galerie is an organisation dedicated to the creative arts which offers the pleasure of experiencing, sharing and learning together. Situated in the historic town of CIVRAY at the heart of the Poitou-Charentes region, the gallery provides a permanent exhibition space for professional artists, workshop areas for the numerous art courses offered and the possibility to discover a variety of learning opportunities.

The Grande Galerie opened its doors on 7th July 2008. With over 40 artists exhibiting a wealth of styles and mediums this Gallery has become a cultural centre in the heart of Civray.

The Cantine and the Internet Cafe are a meeting place for artists and all who enjoy art, technology and good coffee!

Monday - Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sunday: 2pm - 6pm
